At age 31 m. Allen S. Rupley. Allen started modestly, no college, rose through Grace. Co to Chairman of Board. Was greatly admired for his financial savvy and his absolute trustworthiness. In charge of Grace Foundation and was trustee for Grace family wills. Juliette died of stroke at 103 yrs.

Son - John Allen Rupley m. Ila Eloise Ruud, son Eric Samuel Allen.

Juliette after graduation from High School took 6 months training, then went to work for W. R. Grace Co. where she worked for 13 years. At one time Allen was her boss at Grace. Married at 31, John born in 1933 when she was 33 and Allen was 31. Before marriage she had risen to be highest paid woman in Grace Co. Specialized in income tax. Didn't work after marriage. She was at marriage only 98 lbs, 5'1", busty, had "good" legs which Allen admired. She was only member of her family to graduate from H.S. Was especially smart in math. The family disapproved of Allen because he had "no inheritance", but he became the most successful in family. Mildred, Juliette, and Lillian all had very dominate personalities and tended to argue. Anna was milder. Otto was mild.

Friend of Grandfather Cordes, Mr. Schaeffer, arranged jobs at Grace for Juliette and Lillian.
